The 2015 season did not start well forLouisville. An ugly season-opening loss to Auburn was immediately followed by losses to Houston and Clemson. Coupled with some bad news out of the basketball program, September was a cruel month for Louisville.
Conference play is the theme for the ACC’s Week 7 schedule. After holding off Miami last Saturday, Florida State looks to remain unbeaten with Louisville visiting Tallahassee. The Cardinals were on bye last Saturday but have won two in a row after a 0-3 start.
Week 7 of the 2015 college football season kicks off with three games on Thursday night, including a top 25 showdown between UCLA and Stanford and a meeting in the SEC between Auburn and Kentucky. Four games are scheduled for Friday night, including an intriguing matchup in the Mountain West with Boise State visiting Utah State.
College football’s coaching carousel is already in motion. Five FBS head coaching positions are open prior to Week 6 and several more are expected to change coaches by the end of the season. With the carousel moving fast, it won’t be long before athletic directors gauge the interest level of coaches or coordinators and setup interviews for the open position.
