Eli Manning Leads Giants Over Cowboys

Another week, another fourth-quarter comeback by Giants gunslinger Eli Manning.

Eli Manning and the New York Giants make a dramatic fourth-quarter comeback to take down the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night and take a share of first place in the NFC East.

This morning, it's the story in the NFL: A quarterback who's building an unlikely legend around clutch fourth-quarter performances, a guy who saves his best for when the pressure's at its greatest, who creates belief among his teammates that he'll find a way to win. His latest heroics gave his team control of its own destiny in a division race that looked lost.

Is Tim Tebow An MVP Candidate?

No

Tim Tebow for MVP? The Tebow hype machine has really taken it to the next level. Maybe Tim Terrific can be TIME Magazine’s Person of the Year? And hasn’t Superman done enough to garner Nobel Peace Prize consideration? Really? Give the man a full season before anointing him as the greatest in the game.

Tim Tebow Talks About His NFL Dreams and Winning the Heisman

It was Tim Tebow's dream to play quarterback in the NFL before he became a Bronco

This interview with Tim Tebow appeared in Athlon's 2009 college football annual.

Some players live up to the recruiting hype. Others don’t. Then there is Tim Tebow, who has exceeded even the loftiest dreams of the Gator Nation. It was a big deal when he committed to Florida in 2006. How has it worked out? One Heisman, two national championships, two SEC titles. The face of college football gave Athlon Sports some time to discuss his Ole Miss speech, losing Dan Mullen and the chances Florida has to repeat.

Tim Tebow's New "I Told You So" Eyeblack

Tim Tebow has a right to gloat over his success. And what better place to do it than on his eyeblack

Tim Tebow has a right to gloat over his success. And what better place to do it than on his eyeblack

Tim Tebow's eyeblack has been one of his trademarks since his days at the University of Florida. Usually reserved for a Bible verse he wanted to get out to the masses, his eyeblack became a billboard that hearkened back to the days of Jim McMahon's headbands.

Now that Tim's gone through a heavy dose of hatred from the media over his time under center with the Broncos--and come out of it with a 6-1 record--it's time Tim was able to enjoy his success and talk a little smack with his eyeblack.

If you look, you can clearly see that the baby is kneeling down, with his/her right fist on his/her head in the perfect Tebowing form.

Drew Brees, QB, Saints
Eli Manning’s New Orleans homecoming was spoiled by the Big Easy’s favorite quarterback. Brees completed 24-of-38 passes for 363 yards, four TDs and zero INTs, while scrambling for another score on the ground — after which the 6'0" passer attempted to dunk the ball over the goal post, settling instead for a finger-roll — during a 49–24 rout on Monday night.

Tim Tebow Wins Again; 5-1 as Starter

The Denver Broncos won again. But who deserves credit, Tim Tebow or the defense?

The Denver Broncos won again. But who deserves credit, Tim Tebow or the defense?

In the five games the Broncos have won since Tim Tebow took over as the starting quarterback, the passing-impaired Tebow has staged his own personal version of NFL Mythbusters.

Myth No. 1: A purely running quarterback will never succeed in the NFL, where the athletes are too good and the speed too overwhelming.
