Recap: Bradley vs. Southern Ill

Peoria, IL (SportsNetwork.com) - Walt Lemon Jr. scored 16 points and Bradley snapped a three-game losing streak with a 66-60 win over Southern Illinois on Friday night.

Auston Barnes and Mason Alwan added 12 points apiece for Bradley (7-12, 2-4 Missouri Valley), which had dropped 10 of its last 11 coming in.

Desmar Jackson had 17 points and Anthony Beane scored 15 to lead the Salukis (6-13, 2-4), who have lost five of their last seven.

Bradley trailed for much of the first half and was down 32-31 at the break, but used a 9-2 run late in the second half to take the lead for good.

Lemon started the run with a layup and Barnes knocked down a 3 during it as the Braves went up 63-56 with under a minute to play.

Neither team led by more than seven in the game.

The Braves have won three straight against the Salukis and lead the series 45-40.
