Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) - Pinch-hitter Donovan Solano drove in the winning run with a two-out single in the ninth inning to help the Miami Marlins beat the Atlanta Braves, 4-3, in the rubber match of a three-game set at Turner Field.
Craig Kimbrel (2-2) walked Ed Lucas and Logan Morrison with a strikeout in- between to start the ninth. After fanning Marcell Ozuna, Solano stroked a slider to the opposite-field to score Lucas.
Ozuna finished 3-for-5 with a solo home run and two RBI while Lucas batted in a run as well for Miami, who have just two wins in six contests versus Atlanta this season.
A.J. Ramos (3-2) threw two scoreless innings to earn the win. Steve Cishek stranded one in the ninth thanks to a diving catch by right fielder Giancarlo Stanton to help secure the victory and his 17th save of the year.
Brian McCann collected two hits while driving in a run and Freddie Freeman had two RBI for the Braves, who visit NL East division foe Philadelphia on Friday for a three-game series.
