Orchard Park, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - The Buffalo Bills addressed their offensive line in free agency by signing Chris Williams on Wednesday.
The team did not disclose terms of the deal, but it is reportedly a four-year contract worth $13.5 million with $5.5 million guaranteed.
The 28-year-old guard started 16 games for St. Louis last season. He was part of a unit that gave up the eighth-fewest sacks (36) in the NFL.
Selected 14th overall by Chicago in the 2008 draft, Williams has started 54 of 69 career games in which he has played with the Bears and Rams.
