Recap San Diego at Seattle
Seattle, WA (SportsNetwork.com) - Russell Wilson ran for a pair of touchdowns as the Seattle Seahawks defeated the San Diego Chargers, 41-14, in preseason action on Friday night.
Wilson completed 11-of-13 passes for 121 yards and added 31 yards rushing on four carries for Seattle. Robert Turbin carried the ball 12 times for 81 yards and a score and Percy Harvin caught four passes for 31 yards in the triumph.
Philip Rivers, who played one series, was 2-of-4 for 20 yards, while his backup Kellen Clemens finished 14-of-21 for 149 yards and two scores for the Chargers. Keenan Allen hauled in a 13-yard TD pass in defeat.
The Seahawks put up the first 24 points of the game. Turbin opened the scoring with a 1-yard TD plunge and Steven Hauschka added a 38-yard field goal in the first before TD runs of one and five yards by Wilson, respectively, gave Seattle its healthy cushion late in the second.
Clemens hit Allen with a 13-yard TD pass to get San Diego on the board late in the half.
Hauschka's 55-yard field goal and Jake Byrne's 3-yard TD catch provided the scoring in the third as Seattle headed into the fourth with a 27-14 advantage.
TD runs of 44 and six yards by Terrelle Pryor and B.J. Daniels, respectively, capped the scoring in the fourth.
