Athlon Sports visited with Nebraska football recruit Josh Banderas.
Lincoln (Neb.) Southwest High School is home to future Nebraska Cornhuskers star Josh Banderas. He is a 6-foot-2, 220-pound linebacker recruit who has close ties with the Big Red community. His father, Tom, played tight end at Nebraska and it gives the four-star prospect a unique perspective on the passion, commitment and dedication of the Huskers fan base. He is a hometown prospect who has grown up in and around one of the most storied and tradition-laden programs in the game.
In part two of Athlon Sports sit-down with Banderas, the talented linebacker discusses his deep connection with the city of Lincoln, the football program and his football family. He fully understands what it takes to be successful at a program with expectations like Nebraska and has a deep understanding of the Big Red program as a whole. He has already connected with his future teammates and is ready to contribute in any way possible.
