Johnny Manziel's Highlight Reel Pass Against Alabama

Allstate's Good Hands Plays of the Year

Alabama-Texas A&M was hyped as the game of the year in the SEC, and the meeting certainly lived up to that billing.

There were plenty of big plays, including Texas A&M receiver Mike Evans’ 95-yard touchdown catch, and Alabama safety Vinnie Sunseri’s interception return for a touchdown. But the highlight moment was provided by quarterback Johnny Manziel.

In the second quarter, Manziel escaped a sack by Jeoffrey Pagan and scrambled to his right, only to throw the ball back to the middle of the field. Despite having four Alabama defenders in the area, Manziel’s pass was caught by Edward Pope for a first down.
