Salt Lake Stallions Roster (AAF Football)

Dennis Erickson returns to the sidelines to coach this franchise

Pro football is a rare occurrence in Utah. And one of the reasons why the Alliance of American Football (AAF) is getting such great reviews early on is because of the creation of the Salt Lake Stallions. General manager Randy Mueller decided to go all out by hiring the legendary Dennis Erickson as the team's head coach. In a state where college football is king, the Stallions hope to bring that same magic and passion to their fan base as 16 members of this roster played their college ball at Utah, BYU, and Utah State.

Another six players attended schools in nearby states Colorado and Nebraska. The Stallions will play their home games at the University of Utah's Rice-Eccles Stadium, which represents a homecoming for running back Matt Asiata, who played five seasons in the NFL with the Minnesota Vikings. His quarterback, Josh Woodrum, is playing far from his collegiate roots, as the Virginia native played for Liberty from 2012-15 before bouncing around several NFL teams over the next three years.
