Each NFL offseason I complete my list of player projections and rankings which gives me a good feel for each player's role and potential opportunity. Having the player stat projections allows me to identify any missed-priced player values on DraftKings player prop markets.
On my first stop under the Player's Future Tab, I landed on a parlay that pays +14,000 on a $100 investment if Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase lead the NFL in passing and receiving yards. I love the explosiveness of Chase, and I expect him to be the best wide receiver in the game this season. In addition, Burrow's improved offensive line should allow him to attack defense deep on more players. The Bengals have two other talented wideouts, and Hayden Hurst should be an upgrade at tight end. In 2019, Burrow dominated the college football world (5,671 passing yards with 60 touchdowns and only six interceptions). Over the next decade, the Burrow to Chase hookup should push to Hall of Fame status.
Burrow also has an over/under of 4,450 passing yards (-120). I have him projected for 5,092 passing yards with 37 touchdowns. He should also be a winning single bet, even if he happens to sit out Week 18 if Cincinnati clinched an early playoff berth.
Mr. Chase looks almost like a layup in receiving yards (over/under of 1,250.5 with a -110 betting line), receptions (84.5), and touchdowns (10.5). This season, Cinci will get him more easy catches while continuing to be the most dynamic receiver in the game.
Other top passing yards bets:
Kyler Murray – over 4,050.5 yards (-110)
Tua Tagovailoa – over 3,950.5 (-105)
