New England Patriots Best Bets, Team Futures and Player Props

Mac Jones, New England Patriots

The Patriots and their players offer bettors some good opportunities to make money with these three wagers.

Here are three futures bets for the New England Patriots that are worth a look.

  • Patriots over 8.5 wins (-120) on SI Sportsbook

Mac Jones is expected to take another step forward after an impressive rookie season in which he posted the second-highest completion percentage (67.6 percent) and the sixth-highest passer rating (92.5) for a rookie quarterback with at least 300 attempts in NFL history. But with no Josh McDaniels and how little the Patriots did to improve in the off-season, is it wise to take the over?

  • DeVante Parker under 695.5 Receiving (-115) on Draftkings

When was the last time we saw Devante Parker fully healthy? Parker missed seven games in 2021 and totaled 515 yards. In 14 games played in 2020, he totaled 793 yards.

When was the last time we saw a dominant alpha receiver in New England? Julian Edelman in 2019 had more than 1,000 yards and in 2020 and 2021, Jakobi Meyers led the receiving corps with 729 yards and 866 yards, respectively. Those aren’t particularly overwhelming receiver numbers in an offense that likes to spread the ball around.

  • Jakobi Meyers over 3.5 TDs (-115) on Draftkings

Meyers is entering his second season with Jones at the helm and will build off last year’s chemistry. He’s been the leading receiver for New England in two consecutive seasons, but last season he only converted two touchdowns despite his 23 percent target share ranking in the top 12 in the NFL. We should only expect positive regression in his second year with Mac Jones.
