NFL Week 6 Odds, Spread and Exotic Wagers: 4-Team Teaser

This four-team, 13-point teaser gives bettors a major boost on the point spread in Week 6.

Through five weeks of the 2022 NFL season, underdogs continue to be a solid investment posting a 47-31-2 (60.3 percent) against the spread (ATS) record.

Sharp bettors in Vegas continue to heavily invest in NFL teaser wagers, looking to manipulate point spreads. In Week 6, we will follow the solid trend of teams getting points, moving every team in our investment to massive double-digit underdogs.

In this type of investment, bettors are afforded the opportunity to use several (two or more) teams combined into one “exotic bet”, shifting the line in your favor. There are three main NFL teaser offerings readily available at every sportsbook: 6, 6.5 and 7 points. The more points you use on the teaser the lower the payout will be, however, the more teams you include in the teaser bet the higher the payout will be.

After hitting on our Exotic wager at odds of +130 in Week 4, we failed to cash last week when the Texans upset the Jaguars as 7.5-point underdogs.

Let’s look to get back to our winning way in Week 6!

Patriots +15.5 vs. Browns

In the first leg of our 13-point teaser investment, we will target the Patriots heading into Cleveland to take on the Browns. The Patriots dominated the Lions 29-0 in Week 5 as the defense rose up to rally behind third-string quarterback Bailey Zappe. The Browns, who have already lost at home against the Jets and Chargers this season, are 2-6 ATS over their last eight home games. Instead of needing to stay within 2.5 points, in our bet we get Bill Belichick at more than two touchdowns against a quarterback (Jacoby Brissett) he coached back in 2016.

Chiefs +15.5 vs. Bills

This AFC tilt between the Chiefs and Bills is easily the game of the year thus far in the NFL. In the four games in which Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen have squared off, Kansas City has emerged 3-1 SU and ATS. Mahomes has thrived when oddsmakers install him as an underdog, posting a stellar 7-0-1 ATS mark. Instead of needing to stay within just 2.5 points, the second leg of this ticket will reward us with Kansas City as a whopping 15.5-point home underdog!

Cowboys +19 vs. Eagles

The third leg of our teaser will focus on Cooper Rush who is 4-0 filling in for Dak Prescott. The Cowboys, who are 6-0 SU and ATS over their last six road games, will encounter an Eagles club that is the only undefeated team in the NFL. Over the last three meetings, Dallas is 3-0 SU and ATS as well as 7-3 SU and ATS in their last 10 showdowns with their bitter NFC East rival. Instead of needing to stay within only six points, we are afforded the benefit of making the Cowboys 19-point road underdogs.

Jets +20 vs. Packers

In the final leg of our ticket we will head to Lambeau for the matchup between the Jets and Packers. Zach Wilson, who is 2-0 SU and ATS on the season, is 6-3 ATS (66.7 percent) over his last nine starts. Instead of needing to stay within the full touchdown spread, we can instead push the young Jets squad up to 20-point road underdogs. A deeper dive reveals that despite having Aaron Rodgers under center, the Packers have only defeated one opponent by 20-plus points in their last 21 games.
