Week 4 of the NFL season is here! Looking to get in on the betting action? Here are a few player props worth considering.
Austin Eekeler over 53.5 rushing yards (-125)
Can you believe the bar is this low for Ekeler? I know he’s running less this year, but this is a Houston team that allowed 160-plus yards and a TD to backup Khalil Herbert last week. Houston has allowed a league-leading 478 rushing yards across three games this year and with Justin Herbert slightly banged up, surely they lean on Ekeler more in a soft matchup. Don’t overthink it.
Amari Cooper over 59.5 receiving yards (-120)
Cooper has now put together two consecutive 100-yard games with a TD and he has a 30 percent target share for the Browns. For reference, tight end David Njoku is the next-most targeted player and he has an 18 percent share. Cooper leads the NFL in targeted air yards with 46.3 percent, ahead of Cooper Kupp. Amari is the man. This week the Browns face off with the Atlanta Falcons who have allowed the fifth-most receiving yards (585) and a league-leading six receiving TDs to opposing wideouts.
Brandin Cooks over 63.5 receiving (-120)
Quite simply, Cooks is due. Joey Bosa is out and J.C. Jackson might not play for the Chargers this weekend. Last week, three Jaguars receivers caught TDs. Cooks has a 28 percent target share for the Texans, averaging 9.5 targets per game. This is the week he breaks out of the slump.
Russell Wilson over 1.5 TDs (+110)
Can you believe we are getting plus money for this? Russ has yet to pass for more than a TD in a game, which was not what we expected. I know Wilson has been disappointing this season, but one positive is his connection with Courtland Sutton. Also, Jerry Jeudy should be back fully healthy this week and the Raiders have been generous to opposing QBs.
David Njoku anytime TD (+195)
Njoku has seen 35.7 percent of Cleveland’s red-zone targets and the Falcons have allowed the fifth-most receiving yards (221) and the third-highest catch rate (79.2 percent) to opposing tight ends.
