College football's 2020 season is surrounded in uncertainty due to the COVID-19 pandemic. There's a possibility all 130 FBS programs decide not to play this fall, but as of Monday, Aug. 10, 14 teams have officially decided not to hit the gridiron in 2020. UConn was the first program to not play fall sports this fall, followed by the entire 12-team MAC on Saturday, Aug. 8. Conference USA's Old Dominion decided not to play fall sports on Monday, Aug. 10 and more teams could choose this path in the coming weeks.

It's unlikely the push to save the college football season will work, but the players are certainly making their sure their voice is heard.

On Wednesday, the conference announced a revamped schedule, which includes 10 ACC contests and one non-conference game. Additionally, Notre Dame will play as a member for the 2020 season and is eligible to play in the conference title game. There are no divisions this fall, so all 15 teams will be grouped into one pool with winning percentage counting as the determining factor for the teams in the conference championship game.

College football's 2020 season is slated to start in late August, but it's never too early to project where all 130 teams will finish at the end of the year. The COVID-19 pandemic has forced several schedule changes and many challenges await the fall slate. However, Athlon Sports released its top 25 in May and now it's time to project the rest of the teams 26-130. Clemson takes the top spot at No. 1, with Alabama, Ohio State and Oklahoma as the other projected playoff teams. Penn State, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Notre Dame and Oregon round out the top 10.

College football's conference power rankings once again feature the SEC at No. 1 and the Big Ten at No. 2. The 2020 season isn't likely to feature many changes in the next tier of conference power rankings, as Clemson bolsters the ACC to the No. 3 spot, followed by the Big 12 at No. 4 and the Pac-12 at No. 5. The SEC and ACC lead the way on the 2020 Athlon Sports' All-America Team with 23 overall selections apiece, followed by the Big Ten with 21. Alabama has the most overall players selected (eight), with Ohio State coming in second with six players picked.
