Start 'em, Sit 'em Week 8: Kerryon Johnson and Other RB Start/Sit Fantasy Advice

Plus, which Raiders running back is actually worth starting this week?

With the recent rash of new running back injuries (Marshawn Lynch, Bilal Powell, Peyton Barber), and with fantasy studs Melvin Gordon and Ezekiel Elliot (as well as Tevin Coleman and the Titans' duo) unavailable because of they are on bye, finding the right ones to start in Week 8 could be quite the challenge.

Can you really trust Wentz in London against the Jaguars' ferocious defence?

Week 8 of the fantasy football season could prove to be quite the challenge in choosing which quarterback to start. That is of course assuming that you have two quarterbacks on your roster, which you should at this point because of the bye weeks.

Running Back Rankings Week 8

Marlon Mack exploded for 159 total yards and two touchdowns last week

Week 7 was terrible for running backs and fantasy owners felt their pain. We already knew Marshawn Lynch was going to miss at least a month with a groin injury, but Sunday saw LeSean McCoy leave early with a head injury and he's now in the concussion protocol.

Quarterback Rankings Week 8

After solid outings the past three weeks, Mitchell Trubisky is slowly becoming a QB1
Quarterback Rankings Week 8

Fantasy owners may not be surprised at this point when Patrick Mahomes is the top quarterback each week. However, Mitchell Trubisky was the No. 2 quarterback in Week 7. He's thrown for 11 touchdowns vs. three interceptions over the past three weeks. In that span, he's also thrown for more than 300 yards in each game. On the season, only Cam Newton has more rushing yards than Trubisky. Somehow, Trubisky is available in nearly half of Yahoo! fantasy leagues; pick him up as a solid backup (and potential QB1 depending on the matchup).

Waiver Wire Week 8: Baker Mayfield, Jalen Richard, Raheem Mostert, Vance McDonald

With Marshawn Lynch out, Richard becomes an interesting PPR option

Week 8 brings another week with four teams on bye. Fantasy owners are going to be scouring the waiver wire to find replacements for players on the Atlanta Falcons, Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Chargers and Tennessee Titans. In addition, as with every week, injuries affect starting rosters.

Start 'em, Sit 'em Week 7: Josh Gordon and Other WR/TE Start/Sit Fantasy Advice

Yes, you should start Gordon again this week. Plus find out which Ravens receiver is a must-start.

It’s Week 7 of the fantasy football season and now the bye weeks are in full swing. With four teams (Green Bay, Oakland, Pittsburgh Seattle) on bye this week that means fantasy owners are dealing with a wide receiver/tight end talent pool that does not include Antonio Brown, Davante Adams, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Doug Baldwin, Amari Cooper, Jimmy Graham, Jared Cook, Tyler Lockett, etc.

Who is a must-start and who is a must-sit this week in the Mayfield vs. Jameis Winston matchup?

It's Week 7 of the fantasy football season and from a quarterback standpoint, this bye week stings a little. There’s no Aaron Rodgers this week. There’s no Ben Roethlisberger this week. There’s no Russell Wilson this week. What there is in Week 7 are a lot of holes on fantasy rosters, especially if you only have one quarterback on yours.

Running Back Rankings Week 7

Where does Tevin Coleman rank now that Devonta Freeman has been put on injured reserve?
Running Back Rankings Week 7

It’s Week 7 of the fantasy football season and this week the big news is that the Falcons have put Devonta Freeman on injured reserve, which basically makes him irrelevant for fantasy purposes for the rest of the season.

So where does Tevin Coleman and Ito Smith rank this week? Are they both ranked inside the top 24? And what other running backs should you play closer attention to with James Conner, Marshawn Lynch, Chris Carson and Aaron Jones (among others) all on bye?

Quarterback Rankings Week 7

Mitchell Trubisky could be a decent streaming option in Week 7

Fantasy owners may have been hesitant to start Jameis Winston in Week 6, but he finished as the top quarterback (depending on league scoring), beating out Patrick Mahomes. Winston is playing for an offense that has plenty of weapons, and will often be playing from behind. The Bucs' defense is terrible, coupled with a non-existent running game, and Winston is going to be throwing the ball a lot this season. He's still only 59 percent owned in Yahoo! leagues; if he's available, grab him now.

Waiver Wire Week 7: Baker Mayfield, Taylor Gabriel, Chris Godwin, C.J. Uzomah

Godwin has four touchdowns in five games and should be owned in fantasy

As fantasy football owners enter Week 7, they may be looking to fill gaps in their lineup. Four teams (Green Bay, Oakland, Pittsburgh, Seattle) are on bye in Week 7, which means plenty of owners are looking for players to start on their teams. Additionally, some key wide receiver injuries in Week 6 may impact some owners.
