Further adding to what already has been a disheartening and humbling offseason for Buckeye fans, the university announced today that it is vacating all of its wins from the 2010 season, including its share of the Big Ten championship and victory in the 2011 Sugar Bowl.

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Roy Williams dispensed with all of that foolishness, deciding that nothing says romance like a U.S. Postal Service Express Mail box containing a $76,000 ring and a DVD. The recipient, former Miss Texas Brooke Daniels, was strangely unmoved by a proposal from a man who couldn’t even make the trip in person to deliver the ring.

Joey "Jaws" Chestnut won the 2011 Nathan's Hot Dog Eating contest in Coney Island today by eating 62 hot dogs in 10 minutes, his fifth straight title. Second was Pat "Deep Dish" Bertoletti with 53 dogs and Tim "Eater X" Janus came in third with 45 dogs. Coming in fifth was the long-haired 18-year-old rookie sensation Matt "Megatoad" Stonie.
