2014 Final Four: Every "One Shining Moment" since 1987 ... Almost

Luther.jpg

Beyond its place as the greatest — only? — traditional montage in sports, “One Shining Moment” is a time capsule.

Since 1987, David Barrett’s “One Shining Moment” has played over highlights of the NCAA Tournament after the championship game. Like the names and faces in the highlights, the voices have changed over the years, too, with Teddy Pendergrass, Luther Vandross and Jennifer Hudson singing “One Shining Moment” during its 27-year run.

Before Monday night’s championship game, take a trip down memory lane with nearly every edition of “One Shining Moment” since 1987.

We tried to gather every single one, but we had trouble finding video from 1990, 1992 and 2000. If you can find them, we'll add them to the gallery.
