Flau’jae Johnson In Disbelief Of Paige Bueckers’ Game-Winning Shot In Pickup Game

UConn women's basketball star Paige Bueckers hasn't let the offseason slow her down and was seen this weekend keeping her skills sharp alongside another prominent D1 hooper. 

Bueckers and LSU's Flau'jaue Johnson were both at a pickup game, with Bueckers actively competing in the action when she drove down the court and crossed a defender over with a dramatic behind-the-back dribble before laying the ball in the bucket to secure her team the win. 

After her score, Bueckers bounded off the court and down a hallway as she celebrated her impressive move. As she returned from the tunnel, Johnson was there to greet her with praise and a funny compliment. 

"You not real," Johnson told Bueckers. "That ****** ****** is not real."

She was repeating the viral meme of summer 2023 when a woman on an airplane declared that the person sitting next to her wasn't real before storming off the flight. Apparently, it was Bueckers' skills on the court that seemed unreal in this situation. 

Bueckers and Johnson are two of the biggest names in women's college hoops entering the 2024-25 season. UConn just went to a Final Four in 2024 on Bueckers' back, while LSU will need the young and promising Johnson to step up as one one of the team leaders now that Angel Reese is off to the WNBA.
