The day college basketball fans have been waiting all season is upon us as this year's NCAA Tournament bracket will be unveiled during the "2019 NCAA March Madness Selection Show" Sunday, March 17 at 6 p.m. ET on CBS following the conclusion of the Big Ten Tournament championship game.
Turner Sports and CBS Sports have partnered together for the one-hour broadcast live from CBS Studios in New York that will reveal the bracket region by region. It's a return to the more traditional and preferred approach compared to last year's presentation which revealed all 68 teams in the field by alphabetical order before showing each regional breakdown.
Hosted by Greg Gumbel, this year's Selection Show also will feature analysts Clark Kellogg and Seth Davis. They will help release the full bracket and will be joined later in the show by NCAA Tournament Selection Committee Chair Bernard Muir for a live interview.
The NCAA Selection Show also will be available on NCAA March Madness Live, the official live streaming product of March Madness.
Following the Selection Show, Turner Sports and CBS Sports will present a special "Inside the Bracket" social media post-show, running exclusively on official March Madness handles across YouTube, Twitter and Facebook, along with NCAA.com and Bleacher Report beginning at 7 p.m. ET, according to an NCAA.com article.
The 2019 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament will commence on Tuesday, March 19 with the two First Four games from Dayton, Ohio. All 67 games will be broadcast live across four networks — CBS, TBS, TNT, and truTV — and also be available via NCAA March Madness Live.
This year's Final Four will be held in Minneapolis on April 6 with the national championship game set for April 8. These games will be broadcast on CBS.
