(SportsNetwork.com) - UNLV power forward Christian Wood announced Wednesday that he will forgo his final two seasons of eligibility and enter the NBA Draft.
Wood made the announcement in a video he posted to his Twitter feed.
"I'm entering my name in the 2015 NBA Draft," Wood said toward the end of the video, a nearly 4 1/2-minute mini documentary about his time at UNLV. "I think it's best for me and my family."
Wood, a 6-foot-10 forward, averaged 15.7 points, 10 rebounds and 2.7 blocks per game as a sophomore after playing sparingly in his first season with the Runnin' Rebels.
He is projected as a mid-to-late first round pick at this time.
