ACC 2016 Season Awards and All-Conference Team

Lamar Jackson

Lamar Jackson

It’s no secret the 2016 season was a successful one for the ACC. Clemson claimed the conference title and is headed for the College Football Playoff for the second year in a row, Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson won the Heisman Trophy and new hires at Miami (Mark Richt), Virginia Tech (Justin Fuente) and Syracuse (Dino Babers) immediately helped their programs take a step forward. With all signs pointing to successful tenures ahead for Richt, Fuente and Babers, the overall depth of the ACC continues to improve. Additionally, 11 of the 14 ACC teams are bowling, with Florida State making an appearance in a New Year’s Six Bowl for the second consecutive season.
