This is an interesting take
Nick Saban and Alabama lost the National Championship, but they're still the same Crimson Tide.
Alabama always has a way of bouncing back and reloading for the next season. That's why it came as a bit of a shock when Colin Cowherd had an interesting take on Saban and his coaching staff after losing to Clemson.
Coaching under Saban is similar to Scientology. Privacy is demanded. Verbal abuse is understood. And when you leave, it’s more like “escaping”. Saban-tology. He simply wears coaches out. Why the turnover is so great. And it’s caught up to him. This Bama staff got worked.#dabo— Colin Cowherd (@ColinCowherd) January 8, 2019
People obviously went after the FS1 personality, reminding him that perhaps the turnover is so great because of the success the Tide had over the years.
The turnover is so high bc they win championships then go be a head coach somewhere else. What’s this guy talking about?— Eryk Anders (@erykanders) January 8, 2019
Doesn’t Saban produce the most head coaches? His people are leaving but aren’t they leaving to take over programs.— andrew nunez (@andrew_v_nunez) January 8, 2019
This is an absolutely ridiculous take. How many of Saban's former assistants are head coaches? After years of domination and reaching the title game once again all of the sudden Alabama and Saban are done? Give me a break. They just signed the #1 recruiting class.... again. https://t.co/ycHTWEvOwW— Mason Prince (@MasonPrinceTV) January 8, 2019
