Athlon Sports' 2023 FCS Preseason All-America Team
Eight players selected to the 2023 Athlon Sports FCS Preseason All-America Team are returning from last year's postseason squad.
The returning All-Americans are running back Jaden Shirden (Monmouth), wide receivers Hayden Hatten (Idaho) and Devron Harper (Mercer, the 2022 all-purpose selection), offensive lineman Garret Greenfield (South Dakota State), defensive linemen Jay Person (Chattanooga) and defensive linemen David Walker (Central Arkansas), linebacker John Pius (William & Mary), and kick returner Abraham Williams (Weber State).
The banner list of 28 All-Americans represents 20 schools and 11 conferences. Six schools have multiple selections, led by the 2022 FCS national champion South Dakota State Jackrabbits with four.
