College Football's 2019 All-Name Team

Because of freshmen cycling in and seniors moving on from all 130 FBS college football programs, it has always been difficult to keep up team rosters across the country. Add the fact more players are leaving early for the NFL draft, and others are jumping into and out of the transfer portal, and teams may want to forget about names on the back of the jerseys and just go with name tags on the front instead.

However, the constant roster movement also creates opportunities. New players may bring hope to a downtrodden fan base, or provide the missing piece to a championship-caliber team. Some also add the fun of a memorable name, whether they're making plays on the field or sitting on the bench.

At Athlon, we're fortunate enough to see them all, and continuing an annual tradition, we've developed the 2019 FBS All-Name Team.

Did we miss a fun, funny or interesting name that should be added to this list? Nominate that player to us on Twitter: @AthlonSports
