College Football Bowl Games on TV Today
3 p.m. on ESPN – Mercedes-Benz Superdome (New Orleans)
Why you should watch: Louisiana Tech has won six bowl games in a row but faces a tough test in trying to stop Georgia Southern's triple-option attack. The Eagles rank eighth in the nation in rushing at 262.5 yards per game while the Bulldogs are giving up 184.6 on the ground per contest. Both offenses are at less than full strength because of injuries and opt outs, so there may not be a lot of points scored in the Superdome.
7 p.m. on ESPN – Cramton Bowl (Montgomery, Ala.)
Why you should watch: The first-ever Montgomery Bowl features a pair of 2019 conference champions squaring off. Both Memphis (Ryan Silverfield) and Florida Atlantic (Willie Taggart) are hoping to end their first seasons under new head coaches on a winning note. The Tigers are playing in their school-record seventh straight bowl game but looking for their first win since 2014 while the Owls are a perfect 4-0 in bowls.
