College Football Bowl Games on TV Today (Wednesday, Dec. 30)

The college footballbowl season continues with two games on Wednesday, Dec. 30. The TransPerfect Music City Bowl also was on the original schedule but it was canceled due to COVID-19 issues for Missouri. But there's still the Duke's Mayo Bowl and the Cotton Bowl, the first from the New Year's Six lineup, on tap for Wednesday.

So if you're wondering "What college football bowl games are on today?" know this: There are two scheduled for today, Wednesday, Dec. 30.

Note: All times are ET.

College Football Bowl Games on TV Today

Duke's Mayo Bowl: Wake Forest (4-4) vs. Wisconsin (3-3)

12 p.m. on ESPN – Bank of America Stadium (Charlotte, N.C.)

Why you should watch: Teams that have been playing football for more than 130 years will finally meet for the first time. Wake Forest will be missing two of its best players and the Demon Deacons' offense will have a tough task trying to move the ball against a stout Wisconsin defense. This is not a typical Badgers team when it comes to success running the ball but the pieces are present so maybe this is the game it all comes together.

Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic: No. 7 Florida (8-3) vs. No. 6 Oklahoma (8-2)

8 p.m. on ESPN – AT&T Stadium (Arlington, Texas)
Why you should watch: The first game from the New Year's Six lineup, neither team will be at full strength for this one. Florida and not Oklahoma has a Heisman Trophy finalist at quarterback, but Kyle Trask is missing his four primary pass catchers. For the Sooners, their offense may not be as prolific this season in comparison but there's still plenty of talent on that side of the ball and the defense has played its best over the last month-plus. Even though both teams will be without several key pieces this should still be an entertaining game between the SEC runner-up and Big 12 champion.
