The NFL isn't the only option on Sunday as there are two college football matchups to choose from on Dec. 6 as well. COVID-19-driven schedule changes are responsible for the extended weekend on the college gridiron as Conference USA and the Pac-12 aren't quite finished with Week 14 just yet.
So if you're wondering "What college football games are on today?" know this: There are two involving FBS teams scheduled for today, Sunday, Dec. 6.
Note: All times are ET.
College Football Games on TV Today
WKU at Charlotte, 12 p.m. on ESPN3
This game has moved around a couple of times, as the two teams were first scheduled to meet on Nov. 28 and then were going to try again this past Tuesday. Charlotte is certainly no stranger to cancellations, as the 49ers have played in just five games with their last one coming back on Halloween. WKU enters this one at 4-6 but has won two in a row. The primary matchup to watch here is Charlotte's offense vs. the Hilltoppers' defense.
Washington State at USC, 7:30 p.m. on FS1
This game was originally supposed to happen on Friday night but it was moved back two days to allow USC the opportunity to clear more players from the Pac-12's COVID-19 protocols. Both teams had to cancel last week's games and Washington State lost another due to the coronavirus, so rust could be an issue. The Trojans may be more short-handed personnel-wise but Kedon Slovis will be at the helm of an offense loaded with playmakers.
