FCS Playoff Games on TV Today

Delaware at No. 1 South Dakota State, 12 p.m. on ESPN

The Fightin' Blue Hens are undefeated but an underdog against the Missouri Valley Football Conference co-champions. Both teams have excellent running backs in Dejoun Lee (Delaware) and Pierre Strong Jr. (South Dakota State), and each team ranks in the top 10 in scoring defense. The Jackrabbits have a chance to play in their first-ever FCS championship game, while Delaware won it all in 2003 and was runner-up in 2007 and 2010.

No. 3 James Madison at No. 2 Sam Houston, 2:30 p.m. on ABC

The Dukes lost to North Dakota State in the 2019 national championship game and are just one win away from a repeat trip to Frisco as they'll head a little further south to Huntsville. And this battle between undefeated teams should have plenty of fireworks. Southland Player of the Year Eric Schmid gives Sam Houston a dangerous passing attack, while JMU has a deep stable of running backs led by Percy Agyei-Obese.
