College Football Games on TV Today

Eastern Michigan at Ball State, 7 p.m. on CBSSN

Both teams are trying to bounce back from tough, season-opening losses. Eastern Michigan couldn't hold onto a late lead against Kent State while Ball State had a costly turnover that resulted in them coming up short against Miami (Ohio). The Eagles will need more from their offense if they hope to keep up with the explosive Cardinals.

Toledo at Western Michigan, 8 p.m. on ESPN

Both Toledo and Western Michigan coasted to easy wins last week to set up this critical MAC West showdown. Either team is capable of winning the division but in a shortened, six-game schedule one game may be all it takes to decide the outcome. The Rockets have won three in a row over the Broncos and will look to extend that streak in Kalamazoo on Wednesday night in what could be the most entertaining game in the second week of MACtion.

Central Michigan at Northern Illinois, 8 p.m. on ESPNU

Central Michigan survived a tight, back-and-forth affair against Ohio while Northern Illinois committed way too many mistakes in a blowout loss to Buffalo. The Chippewas are the defending MAC West champions but haven't started 2-0 since 2017. The Huskies are hoping to clean things up on offense to avoid a 0-2 start for the first time since 2018.
