Once again, the MAC kicks this week's college football schedule off with two games on Tuesday, Nov. 12. It figures to be a chilly start with forecasts calling for heavy snow with temperatures in the low teens and single-digit wind chills, which resulted in the MAC and ESPN agreeing to move both games up from their original start times.
So if you're wondering "What college football games are on today?" know this: There are two involving FBS teams scheduled for today, Tuesday, Nov. 12.
Note: Games are ordered by start time. All times are ET.
College Football Games on TV Tonight
Eastern Michigan at Akron, 6 p.m. on ESPNews*
The Eagles look to snap a two-game losing streak and get back to .500 when they take on the winless Zips. Eastern Michigan has the MAC's top passing attack but the aforementioned weather may not be conducive to that. On the flip side, these teams are the worst in the conference when it comes to running the ball.
Western Michigan at Ohio, 6:30 p.m. on ESPN2*
The Broncos are tied for the lead in the MAC West but have yet to win on the road (0-4). The Bobcats are coming off of a tough loss to rival Miami (Ohio) that has them looking up in the MAC East standings. They also still need two more wins to become bowl eligible. This will be a matchup of two of the conference's top quarterbacks — WMU's Jon Wassink vs. Ohio's Nathan Rourke. Both are double-threat signal-callers, a skill that should come in handy given the expected playing conditions.
*Both games were moved up from original start times due to weather concerns. The broadcast channel was changed as well. Updated information is listed above.
