College Football Games on TV Tonight

Marshall at Florida Atlantic, 6:30 p.m. on CBSSN

The Owls are red hot, winners of four in a row and at 2-0 just one game in the win column behind surprising WKU for first place in the Conference USA East division. The Thundering Herd, the team many picked to win this division entering the season, are hanging around at 1-1but have lost both of their road games this season.

Pittsburgh at Syracuse, 7 p.m. on ESPN

The Panthers are currently riding a three-game winning streak with each game decided by no more than three points. The Orange are currently in the basement in the ACC Atlantic division and still seeking their first win against a Power 5 foe. However, there's no telling what will happen when these two former Big East rivals get together.

Ohio State at Northwestern, 8:30 p.m. on Big Ten Network*

It's a rematch of last season's Big Ten Championship Game... in name only. The Buckeyes are undefeated and getting the job done on both sides of the ball. The Wildcats are playing solid defense once again but getting next to nothing from their offense. It's not typical for these two teams to play on Friday night so it will be interesting to see how they handle the unusual timing.

UNLV at Fresno State, 10 p.m. on CBSSN

The Rebels and Bulldogs currently occupy the bottom two spots in the Mountain West's West division. It's been a tough start for Fresno State, who won the conference last season, but there are still enough games left to turn things around. UNLV is coming off of a huge win at Vanderbilt, which snapped a four-game losing streak. Can UNLV pick up a second straight road upset?

(*Originally set to air on FS1 but had to be moved due to the postponement of Game 4 of the American League Championship Series on Wednesday. Game 4 was moved to Thursday night with Game 5 shifted to Friday, which was originally an off day. Since FOX owns the broadcast rights to the ALCS, the Ohio State-Northwestern game was moved to the Big Ten Network to free up FS1.)
