Nebraska at Rutgers – 7 p.m. on FS1, live stream on fuboTV (Start your free trial)

The Big Ten gets things started on Friday night with a pair of teams hoping to build some momentum in October. Rutgers always puts up a fight at home and Nebraska's only other game away from Lincoln this season (vs. Northwestern in Dublin, Ireland) did not go well.

Houston at Memphis – 7:30 p.m. on ESPN2, live stream on fuboTV (Start your free trial)

Memphis is currently atop the American Athletic Conference standings while Houston, a team many thought would be entering the season, is scuffling at 2-3. However, there's still plenty of time for the Cougars to be a factor while the Tigers can make a statement by extending their winning streak to five in a row.

Colorado State at Nevada – 10 p.m. on FS1, live stream on fuboTV (Start your free trial)

It's the Jay Norvell Bowl as the current Colorado State head coach returns to Reno to face his former team. Norvell also is looking for his first win with the Rams while Nevada has lost three in a row under first-year head coach Ken Wilson.

UNLV at San Jose State – 10:30 p.m. on CBSSN, live stream on fuboTV (Start your free trial)

First place in the Mountain West's West Division is on the line when UNLV faces San Jose State. The Rebels are rolling along with three straight wins but the Spartans have won 10 of the last 12 meetings between the teams.
