Best College Football Games on TV Today

No. 12 Oregon at No. 3 Ohio State, 12 p.m. on FOX

Defending conference champions and College Football Playoff hopefuls are finally set to meet. Last week's scheduled game in Eugene was canceled due to the pandemic, so Buckeyes will have the home-field advantage against the Ducks. Ohio State also may catch a break with Oregon standout defensive end Kayvon Thibodeaux dealing with an ankle injury. Not a good sign considering the explosive second half C.J. Stroud and the Buckeyes put together in their opener against Minnesota.

Air Force at Navy, 3:30 p.m. on CBS

The first leg of the Commander-in-Chief's Trophy series, this game is taking place a little earlier than normal to align with the 20-year anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks. The home team has won each of the past eight meetings.

No. 10 Iowa at No. 9 Iowa State, 4:30 p.m. on ABC

Hawkeyes have held on to the Cy-Hawk Trophy for the last five seasons. Cyclones had their hands full with FCS Northern Iowa last week while Iowa dominated Indiana. This is the first time in the rivalry that both teams are ranked in the AP top 10.

No. 15 Texas at Arkansas, 7 p.m. on ESPN

Once members of the Southwest Conference, the Longhorns and Razorbacks will soon be reunited in the SEC, so Saturday's night meeting in Fayetteville will serve as an appetizer to the reignition of this rivalry. Texas has dominated the series (56-22) but Arkansas won the most recent encounter (in 2014) and would love nothing more than to douse some cold water on the start of Steven Sarkisian's tenure.

Washington at Michigan, 8 p.m. on ABC

The Huskies' stunning home loss to Montana last week has taken some of the hype away from this game. But it's still Pac-12 vs. Big Ten and the Wolverines have plenty to prove even after last Saturday's impressive opening win over Western Michigan.

No. 21 Utah at BYU, 10:15 p.m. on ESPN

After last year's interruption, the Holy War is back and the Utes are looking for the 10th straight win over the Cougars. Neither team has ever won 10 in a row in the series, so BYU will have a chance to prevent that on its own turf.

Stanford at No. 14 USC, 10:30 p.m. on FOX

It may not have the same juice as their recent Pac-12 Championship Game encounters (2015, 2017) but that doesn't matter to either team. Trojans have won three of the past four meetings (including the 2017 conference title) game and the Wildcats got drilled by Kansas State in their opener, but USC knows to never underestimate the Cardinal.
