Week 4 of the 2022 college football gets started with three games on Thursday, Sept. 22. There's a little bit of everything on tap, including a Sun Belt Conference game, former Big East rivals renewing acquaintances, and an FCS team hoping to pick up another FBS upset.

West Virginia at Virginia Tech, 7:30 p.m. on ESPN
West Virginia won this matchup of former Big East rivals last season in Morgantown. Virginia Tech looks to return the favor in Blacksburg.

Coastal Carolina at Georgia State, 7:30 p.m. on ESPNU
Georgia State's 0-3 record doesn't tell the whole story but the Panthers will need to tighten up things on defense against Grayson McCall and Coastal Carolina in the Sun Belt opener for both teams.

Chattanooga at Illinois, 8 p.m. on Big Ten Network
Illinois is 17-0 in its history against FCS teams but Chattanooga is fully aware of all the FBS upsets the subdivision has claimed this season. Fighting Illini also looking for their best start since 2015.
