College Football Games on TV Today
Virginia at Syracuse, 7 p.m. on ESPNSyracuse comes into this ACC crossover contest undefeated while Virginia needed a last-second field goal to escape Old Dominion last weekend. The Cavaliers were expected to feature a potent offense headlined by quarterback Brennan Armstrong but it hasn't worked out that way thus far while the Orange attack is led by Sean Tucker, one of the top running backs in the country.
Nevada at Air Force, 8 p.m. on FS1
Both teams are coming off of losses. Nevada got shut out by Iowa in a game that was delayed several times by weather while Air Force fell to Wyoming on the road. The Falcons boast the nation's top rushing offense, which will be priority Nos. 1, 2 and 3 for the visiting Wolf Pack.
Boise State at UTEP, 9 p.m. on CBBSN
Boise State has won two in a row but isn't clicking on all cylinders just yet, especially on offense. UTEP outgained New Mexico last week but lost the game thanks to seven turnovers. Points could be hard to come by in this game but the view from Sun Bowl Stadium should be fantastic.
