Expectations are high for the Tar Heels, who boast one of the nation's top quarterbacks in Sam Howell. The Hokies have gone through some rough sledding under head coach Justin Fuente, but a win at home against a top-10 opponent would do wonders for the team's and fan base's morale.

The Spartans took their lumps in head coach Mel Tucker's first season but are hoping for better results with 14 starters returning.
