Best College Football Games on TV Today

Oklahoma vs. Texas (in Dallas), 12 p.m. on FOX

It's the Red River Showdown in the Cotton Bowl. These teams don’t like each other and it matters little that it's entirely possible they could meet again in December. What does matter is which team leaves Dallas with the Golden Hat. Longhorns did last year.

Florida State at Clemson, 3:30 p.m. on ABC

The Seminoles have ceded ACC supremacy to the Tigers but that doesn't mean this FSU team can't at least put a scare into Clemson. The defending national champions escaped with a win against North Carolina in their last game so it will be interesting to see how they come out at home after a bye.

Michigan State at Wisconsin, 3:30 p.m. on BTN

The Spartans are coming off of a loss at Ohio State and will have to try and bounce back in Camp Randall Stadium against the undefeated Badgers. Michigan State's top priority is to try and slow down Heisman Trophy contender Jonathan Taylor while it's Wisconsin's D that has been dominant thus far.

Alabama at Texas A&M, 3:30 p.m. on CBS

The Crimson Tide's inexperienced defense should get a test against Kellen Mond and the Aggies but how will Texas A&M's defense fare at home against Tua Tagovailoa and company?

Penn State at Iowa, 7:30 p.m. on ABC

No one has forgotten what happened the last time the Nittany Lions came to Kinnick Stadium. The Hawkeyes would love to get some payback for that last-second win in 2017 and hand Penn State its first loss this season.

USC at Notre Dame, 7:30 p.m. on NBC

For all of the turmoil surrounding the Trojans, they are in the thick of the Pac-12 South race. USC can help out embattled head coach Clay Helton and give the fan base something to really cheer about if the Men of Troy can knock off the Fighting Irish in South Bend. Notre Dame has won the last two games in this historic rivalry.

Florida at LSU, 8 p.m. on ESPN

SEC smackdown of the week pits the undefeated Gators vs. the undefeated Tigers under the lights in Death Valley. What else needs to be said?

Hawaii at Boise State, 10:15 p.m. on ESPN2

The Broncos are undefeated and currently in the driver's seat for the Group of 5's New Year's Six bowl bid. The Rainbow Warriors are 4-1 behind the nation's fourth-ranked passing attack and eager to show they are a legitimate threat in the Mountain West. Be sure to stay up for this one.
