The final week of the college football regular season is upon us with plenty of rivalry matchups and division hopes on full display as the season wraps up. There will be plenty of action on Saturday to keep you occupied as you sift through those Thanksgiving leftovers, and we'll all be thankful for that.
But there is no way to sugarcoat our picks against the spread last week with a full layer of Cool Whip on pumpkin pie. We took an absolute beating last week, with a dismal 0-5 showing. There is no hiding from the results as it has been a difficult few weeks. So what better way to head into the bowl season than with a clean 5-0 record? After the year we’ve had, it is time for the luck to bounce our way this week.
So unbuckle that belt or put on the comfy pants. We're going to fill you up with winners this weekend.
Note: All times are ET and all games are on Saturday, Nov. 27.
No. 2 Ohio State (-8.0) at No. 5 Michigan, 12 p.m.
If ever there is going to be a year for Jim Harbaugh to score a win against Ohio State, it would have to be this year, right? Wrong. The Buckeyes are too explosive on offense and Michigan isn’t equipped to keep up the pace once again. Michigan hangs with their rivals for a while before C.J. Stroud and Chris Olave and the Buckeyes come up with soul-crushing and division-clinching plays. Ohio State 43, Michigan 30
No. 3 Alabama (-19.5) at Auburn, 3:30 p.m.
The Iron Bowl always has a chance to provide some stunners, but there will be no shocking developments in this year's edition. Alabama will easily take care of business with Bryce Young having another big performance to send Alabama to the SEC Championship Game on a high note. Alabama 42, Auburn 20
Wisconsin can wrap up the Big Ten West Division with a victory against the Golden Gophers, and they will do just that. Wisconsin has been the resurgent dominant force in the division in the second half of the season and that will continue on the road against Minnesota, who will struggle offensively against the Badgers. Wisconsin wins with defense and advances to the Big Ten Championship Game. Wisconsin 24, Minnesota 13
Bedlam will be jumping this week as Oklahoma State looks to take down their rivals from Norman. Oklahoma State has home-field advantage and is the favorite as the Sooners come in hoping to have a coherent offense. Oklahoma State has been the more consistent team this season and that could lead to a win, but we’re going with an outright upset here. Oklahoma 36, Oklahoma State 34
No. 23 Clemson (-11.5) at South Carolina, 7:30 p.m.
This season may not have gone according to plan for the Clemson Tigers, but some things will remain the same in this regular-season finale. Clemson will continue some of their late-season momentum and put on a display of dominance once more against the Gamecocks. Clemson 33, South Carolina 17
