The College Football Playoff National Championship will be heading to two major cities in 2025 and 2026. The College Football Playoff has announced the national championship will be played in Atlanta in 2025 and Miami in 2026.

"𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗥𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘: The #CFBPlayoff #NationalChampionship will return to Miami in 2026, taking place at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. Miami also hosted the 2021 CFP title game," the CFP announced.

Miami hosted the 2021 College Football Playoff National Championship, although the game was impacted due to the pandemic. The big game will return to the big city in 2026.

"We are delighted to be returning to Miami," said Bill Hancock, executive director of the College Football Playoff. "South Florida was a great host for the 2021 national championship game despite the event having to be scaled back because of COVID-19, and we look forward to returning in 2026 with a full complement of events and activities during national championship weekend. The first-class stadium, convention center, hotels and supportive people in South Florida made the decision to return quite easy. The CFP National Championship has become one of the most popular sporting events in the United States in a short period of time, and we look forward to a terrific celebration in Miami in 2026."

The 2023 College Football Playoff National Championship will be played at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. It will head to Houston at NRG Stadium in 2024.
