Weekly college football top 25 rankings are a big part of every season, and Athlon Sports will update its top 25 following the games each weekend. Week 11 of the 2019 season was headlined by LSU's victory in Tuscaloosa over Alabama, Minnesota's home win against Penn State and Oklahoma's escape over Iowa State. LSU, Ohio State, Clemson and Alabama take the top four spots once again, with Georgia at No. 5 and Minnesota moving to No. 6 in the post-Week 11 top 25 rankings. With the 11th week of the 2019 season officially in the books, here are the top 25 teams in college football:

1. LSU (9-0)

Week 11 Result: Defeated Alabama

Clutch performances from Joe Burrow and Clyde Edwards-Helaire help LSU score 46 points in huge win in Tuscaloosa.

2. Ohio State (9-0)

Week 11 Result: Defeated Maryland

Games against Maryland (Week 11) and Rutgers (Week 12) are essentially the final tune-ups for Ryan Day’s squad before big matchups against Penn State and Michigan. Will the Buckeyes get clarification on Chase Young’s status this week?

3. Clemson (10-0)

Week 11 Result: Defeated NC State

Tigers cruise to 55-10 win over NC State to clinch Atlantic Division for fifth year in a row.

4. Alabama (8-1)

Week 11 Result: Lost to LSU

Alabama’s defense had no answers for LSU’s offense and couldn’t get a stop when it needed one late in the game. Tua Tagovailoa wasn’t healthy but still threw for 418 yards and four scores in Saturday’s loss.

5. Georgia (8-1)

Week 11 Result: Defeated Missouri

Bulldogs moved one step closer to clinching the SEC East title with a 27-0 win over Missouri.

6. Minnesota (9-0)

Week 11 Result: Defeated Penn State

Quarterback Tanner Morgan and a standout Minnesota receiving corps lifted Minnesota to its biggest win under coach P.J. Fleck.

7. Penn State (8-1)

Week 11 Result: Lost to Minnesota

Missed opportunities in red zone, three turnovers and struggles against the pass were too much for Penn State to overcome in Saturday’s loss to Minnesota. Nittany Lions can still be a factor for the CFB Playoff with a win over Ohio State in two weeks.

8. Oregon (8-1)

Week 11 Result: Bye Week

Ducks facing favorable three-game stretch – Arizona, at Arizona State and Oregon State – to finish out regular season.

9. Utah (8-1)

Week 11 Result: Off Week

Utah’s off week came at a good time since quarterback Tyler Huntley was playing at less than full strength in the win over Washington.

10. Oklahoma (8-1)

Week 11 Result: Defeated Iowa State

Sooners fortunate to escape with win over Iowa State. Oklahoma’s defense surrendered touchdowns on four of the Cyclones’ final six drives.

11. Baylor (9-0)

Week 11 Result: Defeated TCU

Bears win another close conference game (four by six points or less) to set up huge showdown against Oklahoma next Saturday.

12. Florida (8-2)

Week 11 Result: Defeated Vanderbilt

The Gators limited Vanderbilt to just 128 yards in Saturday’s 56-0 blowout in the Swamp.

13. Auburn (7-2)

Week 11 Result: Off Week

18. Cincinnati (8-1)

Week 11 Result: Defeated UConn

Bearcats crushed UConn 48-3 to move to 5-0 in AAC play. The Nov. 23 showdown versus Temple will likely decide the AAC East winner.

19. Boise State (8-1)

Week 11 Result: Defeated Wyoming

Broncos stay alive for a New Year’s Six bowl with overtime win over Wyoming.

20. SMU (9-1)

Week 11 Result: Defeated East Carolina

The good: Mustangs torched East Carolina for 636 yards and 59 points. The bad: SMU has allowed back-to-back opponents to score at least 50 points.

21. Indiana (7-2)

Week 11 Result: Off Week

Quarterback Michael Penix is out for the year, but the Hoosiers are still going to be a tough out for Penn State and Michigan in the next two weeks.

22. Texas (6-3)

Week 11 Result: Defeated Kansas State

Longhorns have won back-to-back Big 12 games at home on the final play.

23. Navy (7-1)

Week 11 Result: Off Week

Off week was timely for the Midshipmen, as back-to-back games against Notre Dame and SMU are up next.

24. Appalachian State (8-1)

Week 11 Result: Defeated South Carolina

Mountaineers have defeated two Power 5 teams – North Carolina and South Carolina – in Eli Drinkwitz’s first year at the helm.

25. Kansas State (6-3)

Week 11 Result: Lost to Texas

Wildcats’ three-game winning streak was snapped on last-second field goal at Texas.
