Ranking the top 25 teams in college football after Week 14
Weekly college football top 25 rankings are a big part of every season, and Athlon Sports will update its top 25 following the games each weekend. Week 14 of the 2019 season was headlined by Ohio State's dominant performance against Michigan, Auburn's win over Alabama in the Iron Bowl, and Wisconsin's road victory over Minnesota to clinch the Big Ten West Division. LSU, Ohio State, Clemson and Georgia take the top four spots once again, with Utah at No. 5 and Oklahoma at No. 6 in the post-Week 14 top 25 rankings. Florida, Auburn, Alabama and Baylor round out the top 10. With the 14th week of the 2019 season officially in the books, here are the top 25 teams in college football:

1. LSU (12-0)
Week 14 Result: Defeated Texas A&M
Tigers get revenge for last year’s loss in College Station to complete perfect 12-0 regular season.
2. Ohio State (12-0)
Week 14 Result: Defeated Michigan
Buckeyes have defeated Michigan in 15 out of the last 16 matchups.
3. Clemson (12-0)
Week 14 Result: Defeated South Carolina
Trevor Lawrence hasn’t tossed an interception since Oct. 19 against Louisville, and the Tigers have won each of their last seven games by at least 30 points.
4. Georgia (11-1)
Week 14 Result: Defeated Georgia Tech
After losing receiver Lawrence Cager to a season-ending injury in practice this week, the Bulldogs dodged one after the shoulder ailment suffered by running back De’Andre Swift against Georgia Tech doesn’t appear to be serious.
5. Utah (11-1)
Week 14 Result: Defeated Colorado
Another week, another dominant win for Utah in Pac-12 play.
6. Oklahoma (11-1)
Week 14 Result: Defeated Oklahoma State
Jalen Hurts was efficient (163 yards), but Oklahoma was led by its ground game (283) and defense to win its fifth straight over rival Oklahoma State. And most importantly, the Sooners did not lose a turnover and forced two from the Cowboys.
7. Florida (10-2)
Week 14 Result: Defeated Florida State
Gators easily handle Florida State to post 10 victories for the second consecutive year.
8. Auburn (10-2)
Week 14 Result: Defeated Alabama
Gus Malzahn is now 3-1 against Alabama at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
9. Alabama (10-2)
Week 14 Result: Lost to Auburn
Crimson Tide outgained Auburn 515 to 354, but two interceptions returned for touchdowns, a missed field goal and penalties (13) were tough to overcome.
10. Baylor (11-1)
Week 14 Result: Defeated Kansas
Bears ready for rematch with Oklahoma after crushing Kansas 61-6 on Saturday.
11. Penn State (10-2)
Week 14 Result: Defeated Rutgers
Starting quarterback Sean Clifford and standout end Yetur Gross-Matos were out due to injury, but Penn State still handled Rutgers 27-6.
12. Wisconsin (10-2)
Week 14 Result: Defeated Minnesota
Badgers reclaim Paul Bunyan’s Axe and clinch third division title in four years.
13. Minnesota (10-2)
Week 14 Result: Lost to Wisconsin
Golden Gophers fell short of winning the Big Ten West Division, but the 2019 season was a big-time step in the right direction for this program.
14. Michigan (9-3)
Week 14 Result: Lost to Ohio State
Wolverines have been outscored 119-66 over the last two games versus Ohio State. If Michigan wins its bowl game, Jim Harbaugh would have four 10-win seasons in five years in Ann Arbor.

Week 14 Result: Defeated Stanford
The Fighting Irish have won at least 10 games in three consecutive years for the first time since 1991-93.
16. Oregon (10-2)
Week 14 Result: Defeated Oregon State
Mario Cristobal is 13-1 as Oregon’s head coach at Autzen Stadium. The Ducks have also claimed 11 out of the last 12 meetings against Oregon State.

Week 14 Result: Defeated Cincinnati
Tigers one win away from conference title and a trip to the Cotton Bowl.

Week 14 Result: Defeated Nebraska
Iowa quarterback Nate Stanley finishes his career (as a starter) with a perfect 9-0 mark in games against Minnesota and Nebraska.
