These teams still plan to play a college football season in 2020
College football's 2020 season has been significantly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Nearly 40 teams have already decided not to play in the fall and will hope to schedule a season in the spring. With the Big Ten's announcement on Sept. 16 to start its season on Oct. 24, 90 programs are trying to play a full schedule in the fall. The Big Ten joins the ACC, Big 12 and SEC as the Power 5 conferences attempting to play this fall, and they are joined by the American, Conference USA and Sun Belt.
As the Big Ten has showed, it's possible more programs could announce a change of direction in the coming weeks. However, for now, here's a look at which teams are tentatively playing NCAA football at the FBS level in 2020:
