Ranking the top 25 teams in college football after Week 11
Weekly college football top 25 rankings are a big part of every season, and Athlon Sports will update its top 25 following the games each weekend. The 11th weekend of the 2018 season was headlined by Clemson's dominant victory at Boston College to clinch the ACC's Atlantic Division, Texas' wild win at Texas Tech, Alabama's shutout over Mississippi State and Ohio State's victory at Michigan State. With the top teams winning and few upsets, little has changed in the top 25 this week. Alabama, Clemson, Notre Dame and Michigan remain the top four, with Georgia at No. 5 and Oklahoma at No. 6. Pitt joins the top 25 after beating Virginia Tech, while Boise State jumps in after beating Fresno State on Friday night. With the 11th week of the 2018 season officially in the books, here are the top 25 teams in college football:
College Football Top 25 Rankings (After Week 11)
1. Alabama (10-0)
Week 11 Result: Defeated Mississippi State
Alabama’s offense held to just 24 points, but outcome never in doubt due to suffocating Crimson Tide defense.
