College Football World Reacts To The Bobby Petrino Job Report

Will Bobby Petrino soon be returning to coaching in the SEC?

Petrino, 61, has reportedly emerged as a serious candidate for the open Texas A&M offensive coordinator position.

The current Missouri State head coach will soon be interviewing with Jimbo Fisher, per a report from 247Sports.

"Missouri State HC Bobby Petrino has emerged as a candidate in Texas A&M's offensive coordinator search, sources tell @247Sports. He's expected to interview with the Aggies in the coming days," said Chris Hummer.

It's safe to say college football fans are pretty confused by the news.

Would Bobby Petrino really be okay taking orders from Jimbo Fisher?

"Bobby Petrino never gave me the vibe that he would just be ok working under someone else. Seems like the whole 'my way or the highway' is what established him as such a success. Jimbo telling Bobby what to call & run would be quite funny to witness," said John Nabors.

"Bobby Petrino possibly becoming the Texas A&M OC is a nightmare situation for Arkansas fans," said Mason Choate.

"My Normal Self: He hasn’t even interviewed yet," wrote Sickos Committee. "Stay calm. My Sickos Commissioner Self: Time to update this Bobby Petrino Photoshop with A&M Colors!!"

Out of pure amusement, we sure do hope Petrino lands the job. Texas A&M could use a bit more drama.
