Derek Jeter Predicts Massive College Football Upset on Saturday

The first top-ten matchup of the 2024 college football season is bringing all the stars to Ann Arbor, Michigan. Several of them made appearances on "College GameDay" and "Big Noon Kickoff" including Chris Webber, Matthew McConaughey, Will Ferrell and Michael Phelps.

MLB Hall of Famer Derek Jeter stopped by the "Big Noon Kickoff" desk serving as Michigan's honorary captain. He's definitely known more for his achievements as a shortstop for the New York Yankees, but his love for the Maize and Blue runs deep.

Jeter said he's predicting the No. 10 Michigan Wolverines to upset the No. 3 Texas Longhorns, 21-17.

"The Captain" was only joined by former Michigan cornerback and Heisman winner Charles Woodson in picking the Wolverines to pull off the upset.

This isn't the first time he's served as the honorary captain, either. Former head coach Jim Harbaugh tapped him for the same role back in 2016.

The Longhorns enter the game as 6.5-point favorites, while the Wolverines look to make a statement in the post-Jim Harbaugh era.

The teams have only met once before, during the Rose Bowl in 2005. The Longhorns won that one on a last second field goal, 38-37.
