Desmond Howard Shares Bold Remark on Travis Hunter's Heisman Potential

Desmond Howard shared a bold remark on ESPN's Get Up on Travis Hunter's Heisman potential.

From one Heisman winner, to potentially another, Michigan legend Desmond Howard got on ESPN's Get Up Friday morning and shared a bold declaration in regards to Colorado superstar Travis Hunter's Heisman chances.

Hunter had an unreal showcase to start his season for the Buffaloes Thursday night after hauling in seven catches for 132 yards and three touchdowns. He played both sides of the ball at an elite level, and Howard noticed.

Despite, thinking Colorado could finish .500 or below, Howard still believes that there is potential, even though it's extremely rare for a Heisman to be awarded to a player who played on a team with a losing record.

"I think because he's so special, he's a unicorn, I think that travis Hunter will be able to win the Heisman even if they have a losing record."  Howard said.

Many believe that Hunter is a first-round talent as a cornerback and a first-round talent as a wide receiver. Which is absolutely astonishing and extremely unique.

However, the Buffaloes did look a tad wary Thursday night, and if they can't clean up some of their mistakes, especially defensively, there is a chance they finish below .500 with the strength of schedule that they have. It doesn't get any easier next week when they face the up-and-coming Nebraska Cornhuskers
