Florida Gators 2017 Football Schedule and Analysis
Jim McElwain’s second season at Florida ended a little better than his first. While the Gators finished with one less victory (nine) than in 2015, they were able to win their last game of the season, a dominating 30-3 performance against Iowa in the Outback Bowl.
Florida’s 2017 schedule will be a lot more challenging than recent seasons, starting with the opener against Michigan in Arlington, Texas. Two weeks later the Gators will open SEC play against Tennessee and draw LSU and Texas A&M as their crossover opponents. The good news is that McElwain’s team will play all but four games in Florida.
