Florida State Football: Seminoles Social Team Slammed on Twitter for MLK Graphic

When it comes to social media and sports, sometimes less is more.

Even a good team can ruin things by doing too much on a memorable day. That's exactly what happened to Florida State Recruiting's Twitter account when it tweeted out an image of Martin Luther King Jr. with a FSU glove presumably doing the Tomahawk Chop.

Many on Twitter have pushed for the verified account to delete and rethink its social media practices.

The post was taken down after about an hour, but the internet never forgets.

UPDATE: The Seminoles recruiting account issued a statement apologizing for the graphic.
