University sports teams aren't supposed to turn on each other. But we're witnessing a bit of Kentucky-on-Kentucky crime on Twitter this Thursday evening.

It all started when John Calipari called Kentucky a "basketball school" while calling Alabama and Georgia "football schools." That sparked a heated response from Kentucky football head coach Mark Stoops.

"Basketball school? I thought we competed in the SEC? #4straightpostseasonwins," said Stoops.

Stoops isn't the only one coming after Calipari. Former Kentucky football punter Max Duffy took a shot at Kentucky basketball for losing to St. Peters in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament.

"Completely out of the blue question but has the Kentucky football team ever lost to St.Peters?" said Duffy.

Ouch. Kentucky athletics isn't in the best place right now.
