Former Rutgers LB Charged With Murder in "Revenge Killing"
A former Rutgers football player is in a difficult situation for all involved.
Lester Gene Liston faces charges of first-degree murder in what Genesee County (Mich.) prosecutors are calling a "revenge killing." The 22-year-old former linebacker is accused of killing Larry Dunn in Flint, Mich. It is believed that the murder is connected to another homicide in the area. According to MLive.com, a woman was also injured in the incident.
Liston refuted news that he was dismissed from the Rutgers football program back in 2015, saying he left for personal reasons. Though a lot has changed since then, he remained on the minds of some college football fans.
Liston is currently being held without bail and will appear before a judge on Aug. 17.
